About Jharkhand Education Council (JAC)

The Jharkhand Education Council (JAC) was established in the year 2003, with the formation of new state Jharkhand (separated from Bihar in the year 2000). The JAC was established with the objective of making a separate body dedicated to school education in Jharkhand state. The JAC, work under the government of Jharkhand and perform various activities like successful conduction of board examination, affiliating colleges and schools which meets the standard.
